Song Portraits is a set of pictures in words and music of 9 older people in Leeds during the first lockdown of 2020. Each song was composed after a series of phone calls. The project was funded by Leeds Inspired which is part of Leeds City Council. All proceeds from the sale of these tracks will go towards funding a new batch of Song Portraits with older people in Leeds in 2021, this time performed by a wider group of musicians.
